Rainforest areas in Australia are unfortunately shrinking due to the impact of us humans on the environment, meaning fewer wet caves where glow worms reside. So at Mount Tamborine, they have set out to create the perfect wet cave with ideal conditions for glow worms.

A 30-minute tour will enable you to experience the glow worms, accompanied by a biologist who will be able to explain all about their life cycle and behaviour. Leading you along the boardwalk and into the rainforest habitat, you'll get a glimpse of the work that has gone into creating this unique and special place. Plus of course you'll see lots of glow worms - guaranteed - all day long! Their sticky strands and glowing bottoms put on an incredible display!
