What is included in the rental car rate?
The rate being quoted will include the daily hire charge, unlimited kilometres within a 500km radius (of pick-up location), Standard Insurance Included, and GST (Goods and Services Tax). All branches can tailor packages to suit. All rates are quoted in Australian dollars.
How is the daily rate calculated?
The calculated daily rate is on a per-day basis and is for a minimum of 24 hours. Collection and return of vehicles are during business hours. Outside of business hours, arrangements will be made by individual branches and in most cases, fees will apply for airport parking or car collection.
How old do you have to be to rent a car in from RaD Australia?
To rent and drive a car with RaD Car Hire, you must be at least 21 years of age. We do have specific criteria for those aged 21-25 so please ensure you read through all the relevant information prior to collecting your rental car.
Do I need an international driver's licence to rent a car in Australia?
International licences are accepted, as well as all English written licences. If your licence is not in English you will be required to have it translated into English before we can hire a vehicle to you.
